Job Details

A well established Hospice are looking for a Fundraising Manager to join their successful fundraising team.

This is a newly created position, designed to grow the Individual Giving activity and income, with a particular focus on In Memory, Legacy Marketing and High Value Donors. The Individual Giving team deals with supporters who donate 5 to those who have capacity to donate over 1m and they are all treated with the best care.

This role will be responsible for campaign planning, supporter care and administration.

Experience

You will have already been working in a fundraising environment

Ideally you will have a considerable amount of experience dealing with In Memory and Legacy Giving.

Project management skills are essential to this role. You'll need to be confident managing a fundraising event which could raise tens of thousands of pounds. Scheduling, budgeting and KPI setting / delivery will be part of your existing skill set.

Working in the same building as the cause we are fundraising for means you will meet new donors on a weekly basis and each of them will have different needs. Sometimes you will need to drop everything to support a family who have just walked into the building.

Responsibilities

To increase income and support for the Hospice amongst individual supporters, particularly the areas of In Memory, Legacy Giving and High Value Donors.

To assist the Senior Fundraiser Individual Giving to deliver effective In Memoriam and Legacy campaigns, from conception through to results analysis.

Initiating and maintaining excellent external relationships, such as supporters, printers, designers and suppliers.

Initiating and maintaining excellent internal relationships, such as Fundraising colleagues, the Communications team, and the Hospice clinical teams.

To inspire new supporters while maintaining and developing relationships with existing supporters. Identifying where possible, potential high net worth individuals and share these with the rest of the Fundraising team.

To provide excellent donor care for all campaigns, including dealing with complaints and queries.
