Are you an experienced major donor fundraiser looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting vacancy with a leading animal charity on a permanent basis as their new Philanthropy Manager.

This is a key role within the fundraising directorate, and will be responsible for the philanthropy programme at the organisation, which includes several high profile annual events. The post holder will develop a strategy that maximises income opportunities for the charity, and will build and maintain successful relationships with high value supporters. They will take responsibility for approaches to major donors in a carefully planned and concise way.

The successful candidate will have significant major donor fundraising experience, and will be able to demonstrate success within their previous role. They will be an inspiring relationship fundraiser, able to motivate and manage a high-performing team of two Philanthropy Managers, leading them to achieve and excel ambitious targets. Demonstrable philanthropy fundraising experience will be essential, as will be the ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
