Children’s Practitioner (Play Therapy)

Our client is a national charity that provides support to prisoners, people with convictions, and their families both in prison and the community. They believe in inter-dependence and in the fundamental importance of healthy relationships and the family to reduce the chances of re-offending and intergenerational crime. With this at the core, they are developing a new innovative family service pilot in partnership with HMP Brixton, HMPPS and Porticus, that will deliver an end to end integrated rehabilitation and resettlement support programme to prisoners and their children and families. The service will ensure prisoners, their children, carers and other relatives have access to appropriate advice, guidance, learning opportunities, care and support to better enable them to maintain or enhance positive relationships, from the first day of arrival at Brixton prison, to up to 6 months post release.
