Coventry Citizens Advice is here to make society fairer. It has been part of the fabric of the city of Coventry for nearly 80 years. Since then we have given advice, information and support to anyone who needs it; transforming people’s lives and making the city a better place to live and work. We ensure their clients’ voices are heard by collaborating within the network of other Local Citizens Advice Offices, along with Citizens Advice nationally.

Coventry Citizens Advice is one of the largest and most well-known charitable organisations in the city, with a reputation for high quality provision of advice services. In Coventry last year, we dealt with 24,427 enquiries, helping those people most in need - get the help they need. 

We are seeking a new Chair to lead the board, an individual with gravitas and credibility, with the ability to act in an ambassadorial role as well as build and develop strong relationships and utilise their networks across the city and beyond. 

This individual will have experience of strategic leadership at a senior level, board experience within a charity and have knowledge of the charity sector gained from either a governance or executive perspective. Critically, this individual will be motivated by the vision and mission of Coventry Citizens Advice.
