Senior Youth Worker required for a busy youth centre in Marylebone, London. Our large, centrally located, multi-purpose space allows us to deliver a wide range of formal and informal activities including dance, arts and crafts, sports, archery and gardening in our rooftop garden. Members can participate in cookery sessions in our purpose-built kitchen or socialise through games like pool and table tennis in our recreational area. We have a music production studio where young people can make music or learn to play musical instruments. Additionally, we run a term-time, after-school Junior Club, school holiday programmes, residentials in the countryside and day trips.

We are looking for a competent, inspiring individual who sees past challenges and barriers. Someone who focuses on our vision to help create a space for young people and the wider community. You will be a confident leader with young people, enthusiastic about generating new ideas as well as supporting our existing plans. You will be a key member of the management team and we will offer you a good quality training to enhance your development. You will support volunteers and work placement students.

You will be the lead person in sharing positive stories through social media streams such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat and our websites about our projects. 

You will be influential working within partnerships and liaising with businesses about corporate responsibility opportunities.

The post holder will undertake administrative work which will include collating monitoring data, report writing and presentations.  You will also undertake tasks such as updating health and safety information.
