Community Fundraiser

A charity based in Surrey are looking for a Community Fundraiser to ensure the charity's community fundraising activity is implemented and supported.

Key Responsibilities:
-Working closely with fundraising groups and offering them support for their fundraising efforts
-Promoting the work of the organisation within the local community and exploring opportunities to raise income from a variety of sources (companies, schools, groups and individuals)
-Working closely with fundraising groups and offering them support and guidance for their fundraising efforts, including events fundraising
-Recruiting and motivating new local supporter groups and ensuring their fundraising efforts are valued and recognised by the organisation
-To secure local Charity Champions in the area that could exist independently of the above groups to help promote events and products
-Promoting events and raffles in the local community and actively recruiting events participants

Skills and Experience Required:
-Strong track record of raising income from community fundraising
-Experience of organising events
-Great project management experience
-Fantastic communication skills
