Our Fundraising & Supporter Development team fundraises for both the university and for Guy’s & St Thomas’ hospitals, including Evelina London Children’s Hospital, and South London & Maudsley. Through inspiring and innovative fundraising we have an ambition to radically grow our activities and income in the next few years, creating a new paradigm shift for adult, adolescent & child mental health at the Maudsley, building a campaign for Evelina London in celebration of the hospital’s upcoming 150th anniversary in 2019, and pioneering health research to provide the latest treatments and the highest quality, personal care for all our patients at Guy’s & St Thomas’.

We are looking for a tenacious and driven fundraiser to join our Direct Marketing Team.  This is a key role which will help to develop an awareness campaign to   support the delivery of a new Children and Young Peoples’ (CYP) mental health programme.

The chosen candidate will have excellent communication skills and previous experience of project managing mass engagement, marketing and awareness campaigns. The role requires experience in managing marketing projects and agency/supplier relationships to ensure campaigns are delivered on schedule and within budget. The candidate should also have strong experience of briefing and working with creative agencies and an understanding of data, segmentation and data analysis. Candidates are expected to have a good understanding of typical donor audiences and their motivations for giving. Experience of managing marketing acquisition and retention campaigns and telemarketing is desirable.
