DE LA WARR PAVILION CAPITAL APPEALS COMMITTEE: CHAIR AND COMMITTEE MEMBERS
The De La Warr Pavilion is a vibrant centre for arts and culture in a Grade I listed modernist building, managed by a Charitable Trust. We are committed to the growth and resilience of the organisation, its audiences and the cultural and creative economy of the region.
Since the capital works of 2005, we have welcomed over 5.5m visitors to our building and programmes, listening and adapting to the needs of audiences and artists to remain relevant. We want to build on this success by further diversifying our programme, improving the visitor experience, growing opportunities for skills and learning, being a catalyst for regeneration and becoming a creative hub for artists and our communities.
The creation of a new Capital Appeals Committee will help us realise the Pavilion’s full potential and future ambitions.
We are seeking a bold, influential and inspiring leader who will take the role of Chair of the Committee and who understands the modernist, progressive spirit of the Pavilion. The Committee Chair will be the public face of our capital campaign, becoming a key Trustee of the De La Warr Pavilion Charitable Trust. We are also interested in talking to senior individuals who have experience in fundraising and the cultural sector to join us as Committee members to help realise this exciting cultural project for the south east.
