Fundraising Events Manager
The TPP Fundraising and Development team are supporting a health charity based in London with the search for an interim Fundraising Events Manager. This is a maternity cover role, expected to start in June 2019.
This is a varied role, and you will be working in a team that is earmarked for growth over the next 12 months. You will be taking the lead on growing the charity's third party events portfolio (which includes events such as the Great North Run, Ride London 100 amongst others) as well as contributing to plans to optimise stewardship/participant experience.
In doing the above, you will:
- contribute to event marketing strategies
- devise and oversee adminstrative processes for the events to ensure accurate commujnication and financial records are maintained
- deliver events ensuring that all legal, health and safety, risk assessments and crisis management requirements are met
- recruit, manage and support volunteers to maximise revenue opportunities
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you should have a solid track record marketing and delivering successful third party events activity, and also possess excellent communication and project management skills.
