Finance Officer / Credit Controller

Harris Hill are proud to be working alongside an amazing local charity, based in London, E1, who are seeking an enthusiastic Finance Officer/Credit Controller.
We are genuinely excited to be working with this organisation who work with local communities to help and inspire them to come together to improve their political power, while campaigning for social justice for the common good.
The successful candidate will be joining the charity at an exciting time of growth & you will play a key role in the finance and operations team.
Key responsibilities
Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales
Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner
Propose write off of irrecoverable receivables
Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiries

Key skill
The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle a wide range of competing demands
Proficient in use of MS Office package
High levels of numeracy with strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
