Our client is an international Christian organisation that exists as an advocate for children, to release them from their spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty

Position: Ministry Development Director

Location: Permanent position, either home-based or office-based at the new agile offices in Fleet, Hampshire (GU51 2UT)

Salary: £45,900 pa (within the grade £45,900 to £56,000 pa)

Duration: Full-time

Hours: Monday - Friday - 35 hours per week

Benefits: Enhanced pension scheme, non-contributory pension scheme (10% employer contribution), enhanced holiday allowance, all employees will be entitled to 5 normal working weeks’ annual leave a year* (pro rata), plus normal bank holidays (pro rata), Private Medical Insurance and Dental Insurance (on completion of probation period), Income Protection & Life group

About The Role:

You’ll lead the newly created Ministry Development Team, cultivating key relationships with existing and prospective external partners and working closely with team members to deploy specialised acquisition skills to serve more children living in poverty. As the Ministry Development Director, you’ll ensure that front-line acquisition is in keeping with their cultural attributes, is data-driven and, using your knowledge and experience, ensure it is always guided by the best available business intelligence.

You will:


  • Actively maintain and promote Christian ethos and values;
  • Actively support the front-line acquisition through collaboration and innovation;
  • Ensure events, acquisitions and major donor relationships are maximised;
  • Foster and lead an agile department with great culture and development at the core;

  • Be a leader in the planning, development and implementation of the CUK acquisitions strategy.


About You:

To flourish in this role, you’ll need:


  • Sales and Marketing experience with a proven record of sales and achievements;
  • An affinity with Church leaders and be able to build long-term partnerships with them;
  • An understanding of high net worth individuals and an ability to relate to them;
  • Great project management skills. You must be a well-organised person, able to show your ability to initiate, monitor, and complete complex projects;
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant field and/or able to show relevant work-based experience;
  • Core office/administrative skills;
  • A full UK driving license.
