Salary: £40, 600 per annum (national), Circa £43,900 per annum (including £3,299 inner London weighting)

About the role:
We’re looking for an experienced and strategic individual to lead the organisation’s work to prevent strokes.
Reporting to the Deputy Directory – Policy & Influencing the post holder will lead the implementation of the organisation’s prevent strategy, ensuring the organisation has a clear vision for its prevention work, and that colleagues at all levels are supported to engage in impactful stroke prevention activity nationally and locally.
They’ll work closely with colleagues to ensure we have clear and consistent prevention messages and that we build our ability to influence prevention policy and practice at local and national levels across the UK.
About you:
The successful candidate will have significant experience of developing and implementing prevention programmes at a strategic level in the NHS or voluntary sector.
They’ll have stroke knowledge of influencing health policy locally and national and will have demonstrable experience shaping and leading large programmes of organisational change.
You may have experience of the following: Head of Prevention, Head of Stroke Prevention, Policy Manager, Head of Policy, Stroke Prevention, Project Manager, Project Management, Programme Manager, Programme Management, Charity, Third Sector, NFP, etc.
