Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with a leading arts organisation to recruit their new Trusts and Foundations Manager. A newly crafted role in the highly successful Philanthropy team, this post will work to generate significant voluntary funds for the organisation and develop a portfolio with a focus on high value, multi-year partnerships.
The Trusts and Foundations Manager will be responsible for developing a clear understanding of the organisation's charitable objectives and will articulate these to trusts, foundations and other grant makers. The Manager will be responsible for implementing a trusts and foundations strategy in line with the Philanthropy Team's objectives and will build a strong, robust pipeline of from a broad range of partners. You will manage budgets and monitor income against targets, drawing on the knowledge and expertise of colleagues where necessary.
The selected candidate will have demonstrable experience of securing and managing high value, complex grants and will have extensive fundraising experience, ideally within an arts setting. You will be confident in developing and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, as well as representing the organisation at a variety of high profile meetings and events. You will be able to work closely with the Prospect Researcher too, and will have the ability to work under pressure and to prioritise your personal workload quickly and efficiently.
