Trust & Foundations Officer
St Georges Hospital Charity
Location - South London
Salary 28,000- 30,000

With thousands of staff caring for patients around the clock, St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the country's largest teaching hospitals, treating more than 500,000 patients every year and has an international reputation for quality of care and cutting-edge treatment.

St George's Hospital Charity supports this work, by enhancing the physical environment of the hospitals for patients, staff and visitors. The orgnaisation funds research and state-of-the-art equipment. Through fundraising the Charity is able to fund projects which touch the lives of the thousands of people cared for by the hospitals and local community services each year and supporting hospital staff, through training and development.
The Trusts and Foundations Officer will play a crucial role in delivering fundraising growth through securing donations from and developing a pipeline of Charitable Trusts and Foundations supporters.

I am looking for a ambitious individual to shape, develop, implement and lead the Trusts and Foundations strategy. Critical to your success will be your positive and pro-active approach and your communication skills with colleagues both within the charity and the hospitals it closely works with.

You will have experience of maximising income from trusts and foundations in a charitable environment via compelling, targeted bits. You will also have experience of extensive prospect research, identifying and researching potential funders to produce a pipeline of prospective funders and proactively obtaining a detailed knowledge of the organisation's projects via a good working relationship with the Grants Manager.
