Fundraising Prospect Researcher
Our client is the UK’s largest provider of specialist services for victims of all forms of gender-based violence (domestic, sexual, so called ‘honour’ violence, trafficking, prostitution, forced marriage, stalking and FGM). Every day they support over 6,600 women and children in their national network of services. These include Independent Domestic, Sexual and Gender-based Violence Advocacy services (IDVAs / ISVAs and IGVAs), community outreach, specialist refuge accommodation, sanctuary services and culturally-specific services and the Freephone 24 Hour National Domestic Violence Helpline (run in partnership between our client and Women’s Aid). They advise Government and lobby hard to keep violence against women and girls high on the public agenda. They run award-winning prevention and public education campaigns, managing a busy press office and website, and they are an accredited training provider. They give a voice to the voiceless.
Position: Prospect Researcher
Location: Head Office, London
Job type: Part Time, Permanent
Hours: 22.5 hours per week (They are happy to consider candidates looking for flexible working options)
Salary: £26,271 per annum

About the role:
They have an exciting opportunity to join their passionate and dynamic fundraising team, to support their goal of creating a world where violence against women and girls is not tolerated.
Reporting to the Head of Major Giving, this is a new role which will work with colleagues across Fundraising to deliver quality research and GDPR compliance, developing structures and processes contributing to the overall success of their team.
Responsibilities:
The post holder will prepare quality research profiles for Major Giving, Corporate and Trusts and own the Raiser’s Edge data management process for Major Giving. You will create a prospect research strategy, making a significant contribution to our client’s fundraising strategy and helping them achieve their ambitious target to increase multi-year, sustainable income.
About you:
You will have demonstrable experience of research and data management processes, ideally understanding prospect pipeline management. You are experienced in using Microsoft Office and databases, and have outstanding organisational and administrative skills.
You will be confident working in a busy office environment, managing a range of tasks. Communication skills and balancing a varying workload are of vital importance as this role requires working across a range of teams with.
