An exciting new role has come up within the well-renowned fundraising team at Ovarian Cancer Action for a Major Donor Manager. They are committed to driving growth from philanthropic sources and have created this new opportunity to develop and implement a new major donor strategy. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Major Donor Fundraiser to lead on all philanthropic fundraising and make this role their own.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the Major Donor Manager will develop a researched pipeline of potential donors through the existing database and identify new prospects alongside the senior leadership team and senior volunteers. With a sensitive and professional approach, the successful candidate will steward donors effectively to ensure continued and enhanced support.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with enthusiasm for connecting with key donors and establishing new relationships. Ovarian Cancer Action are looking for candidates with a strong track record of developing compelling cases for support and securing significant major gifts from new and existing donors. A background in medical research is not necessary; however an interest and belief in the values of the organisation is essential.
