Citizens Advice Mendip helps people to resolve their legal, money and other problems. We put clients first with high quality advice services offered via a range of channels.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our skilled debt advice team who make a real difference to people’s lives.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work flexibly with clients. You will be a meticulous individual, especially when maintaining case records for continuity of casework, and you’ll assist with research and campaigns work by providing information about clients’ circumstances. You will also be very well informed with regards to legislation, case law and policy changes relating to debt and benefits.
To be considered for the post, you will be self-driven with the ability to prioritise your own work, meet deadlines and manage your own caseload. A strong communicator across all media, you will be able to demonstrate effective writing skills and be adept in the areas of negotiation, representing and preparing reviews, reports and correspondence.
