Prospectus is excited to be working exclusively with an established Family support charity to support their search for a new Income Generation Officer (Trusts and Foundations Fundraising). The position requires someone with excellent written, communication and relationship building skills.

The organisation is the East of England's leading family charity, supporting children, young people and families to manage the challenges they face and improve their life chances. They provide wide-ranging support for children and young people, from mental health services, to bridging the gap between home and school, to support for imprisonment, and much more.

Reporting to the Trusts and Foundations Manager, the Income Generation Officer will be expected to work collaboratively and effectively with the team. The Income Generation Officer will be responsible for researching, approaching and securing funding from grant giving bodies including trusts, foundations and statutory sources.

The successful candidate will preferably have some experience within the charity sector in Trusts and Foundations fundraising, however the organisation is open to candidates with essential skills, including excellent persuasive writing abilities, professional relationship building or client management experience and strong time management and organisational skills.

The organisation is looking for someone who is passionate about the cause and driven to support the charity's existing and new services.
