Berkshire Women's Aid (BWA) provide confidential support, information, outreach services and refuge accommodation for women and their children who are affected by domestic abuse and violence. An innovative organisation, we also work with perpetrators and male victims.
BWA believe all women, children and men should be able to live free from the fear and experience of domestic abuse and violence in their homes and relationships.
The Chief Executive will act as an ambassador for BWA providing the public face for campaigns and building relationships with funders/potential funders, the media and other stakeholders. This is an exciting time for the organisation having recently completed a new purpose-built refuge to expand provision and multi-year contracts in place with local authorities. Working closely with the Board of Trustees the new post holder will renew and then implement the long-term strategy and budget for BWA ensuring that it complies with the law and relevant regulations and contract obligations
