Learning and development administrator
Location: Victoria, London
Salary range: £23,000 per annum FTE (£13,800 actual)

Part time: 21 hours per week (flexible)
Annual Leave: 25 days annual leave plus public bank holidays pro-rated

The role
Working at our client's central London office and reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, you’ll provide comprehensive, customer focused learning and development admin support to all care services and central office staff. This is a busy and varied role where you’ll commission and set up training for care staff, provide positive, clear and timely advice and information to managers and their teams and produce up-to-date, accurate Excel records and reports of training compliance for our client's trustees.

You will be responsible for managing the Learning and Development calendar and co-ordinating the diary for the Learning and Development trainers. You’ll be the main point of contact for queries about mandatory and some clinical learning and development courses. You’ll also set up accounts for new staff on an online learning platform, book rooms and lunches, arrange for course support materials to be available and send out course information to office managers and external and internal training providers.

You’ll also have the opportunity to get involved in project and development work, and to develop your skills and knowledge. You’ll need to be prepared to travel occasionally to other offices and sites.

About you
You’ll need good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and face to face or over the phone, good customer service skills, and be able to manage a busy and varied workload. You’ll be a confident user of a range of IT applications like Excel, Word and Outlook. You’ll also need to enjoy being part of a team, and to be proactive and able to work autonomously.

You will already have gained some experience of administration in a busy office environment and be interested in developing yourself and your career. An interest in learning and development plus some experience of the third sector is desirable, but not essential. Above all you’ll have strong organisational skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service to all learning and development stakeholders.

If this sounds like you, they would love to hear from you!
