Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with The Directory of Social Change (DSC) as they look for a Senior Researcher for a 6 month contract. DSC has helped to make thousands of charities stronger through providing training courses, research, hosting conferences and much more. Their aim is to support charities with every aspect of what they do.
As a Senior Researcher you will collect and analyse data using a range of methods for their publications, reports and other research projects. Your role will include identifying interesting and noteworthy trends and to communicate these effectively to internal and external stakeholders. You will use a variety of research methods including searching public records, conducting questionnaires, telephone or face-to-face interviews, holding focus groups or critical reading of documents. You will also assist with the design and planning of research projects, including editorial and marketing.
To be successful in this positon you will bring experience of developing research proposals and a passion for the non-profit sector. Being comfortable with databases, excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate your own workload are key for the Senior Researcher role.
