Our client are the largest landlord group in the North East, owning and managing almost 34,000 homes in an area spanning North Tyneside to York, with the majority of properties in the Tees Valley. Reporting to the Asset Planning Manager and working with internal and external stakeholders, the successful applicant will form part of the Asset Planning team and will be known internally as our Asset Work Planner. As a team you will contribute towards and produce the plans for the investment schemes based on the data held within their software.


Effectively updating, collating and organising the asset information from various data sources in the preparation for the programmes of responsive and planned investment and improvement works. Retrieving data from a database system, you’ll prioritise it and transferring this into excel or word format as ‘work plans’ for staff/trades to work from.


With excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will have a calm and professional manner coupled with a strong customer service ethos. Due to the nature of the role you will be proficient in using various software packages, specifically MS Excel. The right person for the role will be able to demonstrate analytical skills and the ability to extract, interpret, and process large amounts of data and they will need to understand how to present this data to make is clear for others. It would be advantageous to have experience of Asset Management, Property Services, Housing Repairs, Maintenance and an awareness of the ‘Decent Homes Standards’ document.
