This is an exciting, challenging opportunity and ideal for a confident self-starter to help to coordinate a multi-million pound research programme.

About this job

Reporting to the Senior Research Manager, you will support the research grant funding processes, coordinating review, funding and ongoing management of research grants, helping to facilitate greater impact from a scientific program for people affected by MS. In addition you will play a key role in implementing research strategy, providing strong support for exciting and evolving research initiatives such as the MS Register and a clinical trials program.

As Research Grants Officer you’ll be armed with a clear understanding of research methodologies, combined with outstanding organisational and communication skills as well as a proven track-record in working in a complex and varied working environment. You will be joining the charity at an exciting stage of its development and this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and friendly team.

Our client offer 27 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays), a 35 hour working week, travel loan and various other benefits such as supported developmental opportunities.
