Our client is looking to appoint a Lead Facilitator who can support the ongoing development and delivery of their current services programme at their National Centre by leading the current Facilitation team and undertaking a range of in-house course facilitation each week.

Salary: £25,000 - £26,500 pro-rata, per annum
Contract: Part-time, Permanent  
Location: Pill, outskirts of Bristol
Benefits: 25 days holiday per year (pro-rata) + bank holidays (pro-rata) + additional days over Christmas and New Year period.  Free parking in a beautiful semi-rural setting.

The Lead Facilitator will deliver a range of in-house courses across the week (including some weekends) and contribute to the recruitment of attendees to courses by working with the Bookings and Communications team to publicise activity. They will be responsible for the day to day line management of the facilitation team including 1:1 meetings, objective setting and annual appraisals.  They will be expected to monitor the utilisation of courses and work collaboratively with their team to ensure maximum attendance is achieved. The Lead Facilitator will ensure that good communication and support systems are developed within the team as well as working across the organisation with other departments such as their Academy.

  • A proven track record of successfully developing and delivering services
  • A high level of interpersonal, presentational and communication skills
  • Experience of working therapeutically with individuals
  • Good facilitation, presentation and teaching skills
  • Supervisory experience
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • A congruent understanding of the Bristol Whole Life Approach
  • Personal resilience
