Ecommerce Manager 

Our client provides two very important functions firstly a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) in Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland and secondly The Children’s Air Ambulance (TCAA) which provides a specialist neonatal and paediatric transfer service across the UK. Their objective is to save lives, utilising specialist pilots, doctors, and paramedics and with their work centred on saving lives, improving clinical outcomes and being able to react quickly and efficiently to emergencies. 

They are at the forefront of innovative clinical care and they challenge boundaries. None of this can be achieved without a hugely dedicated team of colleagues, volunteers and the general public.

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 dependant on experience

About the role: 

The role of E-Commerce and Product Manager will report to the Head of Trading and will work closely with the Trading SMT developing and delivering the short, mid and longer term strategic plans and priorities for the function. The role will line manage the eCommerce Manager and the New Goods Team Leader. 

The role is tactical and strategic in its intent and has direct accountability for generating income for Trading. You will oversee the function including leading a multi-disciplined team to exceed KPI’s and objectives. 

You will be responsible for driving innovation in the E-commerce function and identifying new revenue streams whilst maximising income from existing operations for the Charity. You will also work closely with their retail outlets to identify new goods that will suit their brand and be profitable for their shops and online. 

You will need to form relationships with key stakeholders internally within retail and provide accurate reporting to the Senior Management team. 

The role holder will be based at Daventry Warehouse, Northamptonshire with occasional travel to their other sites, shops and suppliers, so a clean driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable. 
About you: 

The role holder will have significant demonstrable experience in utilising technology within E-Commerce and a Retail EPOS environment with clear commercial understanding of new goods stock management systems, margins and profitability. 

You will have excellent influencing and negotiating skills with suppliers and contractors and be able to clearly communicate the technical nuances of your role to your stakeholders. You will have strong leadership skills and be able to formulate KPI’s and objectives for a multi-disciplined team. 

Innovation and continuous improvement are key so you will be able to evidence where you have taken an idea from conception to successful commercial implementation.
