The Role

The Procurement Department works to ensure that the Charity makes the best use of its resources by seeking value for money on ethical and sustainable third party spend, offering strategic advice and guidance on purchasing and supply issues, managing supply risk and providing operational support.

About You

The Procurement Buyer will be able to think laterally and identify opportunities to make procedural improvements and to deliver cost savings or process efficiencies. You will be experienced in presenting data clearly and developing management information and reports and have the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

You will have previous experience of category management and/or managing the end-to-end procurement cycle. Experience of using finance, electronic procurement, workflow or data analytical systems would be desirable, as is a Level 4 CIPS, or a willingness to work towards the qualification.

“The Sanctuary is a positive place to work with friendly staff and a wonderful charity. With amazing work throughout the world, once you join you never want to leave!”
