The Major Giving Department at the NSPCC has an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to join our highly successful Trust Team, securing donations from £5,000 to £100,000+. The team has an annual income target of over £2m and works alongside the Statutory and Individual Major Donor Teams.
As a Philanthropy Manager, you will manage a portfolio of around 50 funders and prospects, building strong relationships and developing bespoke proposals to seek their support. In order to succeed, you will collaborate with a broad range of colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure that your funders and prospects are fully informed and engaged in the work of the NSPCC.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of working with major UK trusts and foundations, successfully bidding for support
- Proven success in meeting financial targets by implementing successful fundraising strategies
- The ability to produce compelling written material of the highest quality
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills with colleagues and funders
