The RHS is a national charity with a mission to inspire everyone to grow, as it is vital to our wellbeing, the environment and the happiness of us all. This new role is to work in our passionate communities and schools team, in the beautiful surroundings of RHS Garden Wisley in Surrey.

The RHS is undergoing an exciting period of development, building state-of-the-art science and leaning facilities at Wisley, developing a brand new garden in Salford and bringing our work with community volunteers, schools and groups to the heart of it all.

The team delivers our award winning school’s programme the Campaign for School Gardening offering resources, training, competitions and projects all designed to get young people growing and feeling the benefits. It also supports Britain in Bloom, an amazing force of volunteers that clean and green our towns, cities and villages across the UK.

We’re looking for someone to join our dynamic Campaign for School Gardening team to develop and deliver exciting communications across multiple digital channels including our website, social media platforms and e-newsletters. The content you create will help us engage audiences with our projects, competitions, resources and training programme, as well as encourage a sense of community by sharing inspiring stories and the wider work of the RHS.

We’re looking for someone with the technical skills and proven experience to manage multiple social media campaigns and channels, develop highly engaging copy for a digital audience and support the Communications Officer in creating inspiring photography and video content. The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills and a clear understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques.
