Head of Business Development

The TPP Fundraising and Development team is supporting a rapidly growing London-based Health charity with the search for an interim Head of Business Development. Reporting to the Head of Partnerships and providing cover for maternity leave, you will lead and motivate a team of 4 staff, offering leadership, support and strategic direction within the Business Development function. You will ensure that the charity provides a proactive, professional service to potential corporate partners.

Specifically you will:

- contribute to the development, review and implementation of the new business strategy - achieving income targets and developing long term support
- develop a strong pipeline of new business prospects
- set ambitious targets for the team to secure COTY, Strategic, Commercial and Sponsorship partnerships
- work closely with colleagues across the charity to ensure they understand the value of corporate partnerships, and to develop tailored propositions

In order to be considered for this opportunity you will have a strong track record in charity corporate fundraising with specific examples of winning innovative and high-value partnerships. You will be a strong leader and line manager, be creative and tenacious, and also have fantastic interpersonal skills. You will be a compelling writer and presenter, with a proven ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders at senior management level.
