HR Business Partner
Our client is a charitable group of companies that supports people with a learning disability. Their unique leadership and structure includes people with a learning disability. Through this they can demonstrate that people with a learning disability can be leaders in society, but they can’t do this without you! They have a new opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner, to join their human resources team on a full-time basis.
Position: HR Business Partner
Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: flexi time and flexible working
Salary: £38,000 to £40,000 per annum
Benefits: 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays; Contributory pension; Flexible working and Flexi Time. Cycle to work scheme; Employee support line to support you and your family; Support in gaining professional qualifications; Continuous on the job training is provided.
About the role:
The HR Business Partner will be the key strategic interface between our HR team and our clients subsidiaries. The role will proactively support and add value to the delivery of the subsidiaries business objectives framed by their ‘strategic direction’ and workforce development plans.
Reporting to the Head of HR, the HR Business Partner will need to provide support to managers across the company. The role will provide strategic leadership to drive delivery of the HR strategy and act as a change agent, proactively encouraging change within the organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for a resilient HR professional who takes pride in delivering excellence, thrives on challenges and is adaptable. It is imperative that the chosen candidate is flexible and ideally experienced in a Social Care environment, but this is not essential.
About you:
The successful candidate will be a member, or Fellow, of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) or equivalent and will have experience of working at HR Partner level, preferably within the Social Care environment. You will also have demonstrable experience of working in a matrix organisation.
You will have knowledge of the spectrum of possible HR interventions and experience of delivering improved business results. Demonstrable experience of a range of HR and Management Information systems that enables analysis of information is also essential. You must also be able to identify how HR can best contribute to its success.
Additionally, you will have a strong customer focus and proven ability to build productive relationships at all levels of the organisation. You will have a flexible approach to working as this role will involve regular travel and occasional overnight stays.
