They are looking to recruit a Support Worker to deliver a floating Domestic Abuse support service throughout Worcestershire. This is a great opportunity to really make a difference.
They are looking for someone who has previous experience of advocacy and support work with vulnerable people, together with a relevant professional qualification, a current driving licence and use of their own vehicle.
Successful candidates will have experience of delivering one to one and telephone support, knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse issues and the needs of those affected by it. You must be able to work as part of a support team, with minimal supervision, be able to organise a busy workload and respond to unplanned demands. You will have excellent negotiation and presentation skills, be IT literate, using databases and Microsoft Office and internet communications.
2 out of hours shifts per month
Enhanced disclosure and barring service (DBS) check is required
