Our client is one of the Sunday Times 100 Best Not-for-Profit Organisations to Work For in the UK.
They have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Income Officer to lead the Income Team to provide effective and efficient customer service to tenants to achieve agreed income targets and meet their standards of excellence in customer care and diversity.

Within this role, you will be responsible for providing information to the Income Manager for the monitoring of performance on rent and service charge arrears, proactively engage with customers to promote a positive payment culture in order to maximise income and provide support and advice to team members to ensure customers claim all the
benefits to which they are entitled.

Further to this, you will build proactive partnerships with external support agencies to promote take-up of benefits and ensure customers receive appropriate benefit and debt advice.

They are looking for a motivated individual who has previous experience of delivering customer-oriented services, delivering results and continuous improvements with the ability to plan, implement and manage change effectively. Ideally, you will have a professional housing or related qualification or working towards and comprehensive knowledge of housing sector including the legal and regulatory requirements relating
to income management. You must have experience of line managing teams, providing direction and guidance to achieve agreed targets, objectives and outcomes.
