They currently have challenging but rewarding opportunities for Team Leaders to join their team in Hinckley.

Within this position you will assist the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager with all day to day activities within the residential environment. Ensuring best practices you will support, motivate and encourage the team, cascading your knowledge and expertise when necessary to ensure the best environment, where children and young people can thrive.

Specific roles and responsibilities of this position include ensuring policies and legislation is implemented, monitored and adhered to by all staff whilst also guiding and supervising staff standards of care. You will also attend and participate in case conferences, reviews and planning meetings when required.

You will set the standard and demonstrate good child care practices acting as a role model for the team and also the children. This means you will also have a hands on approach and get involved encouraging and motivating  the young people to get the best out of everything they do.

About you
Our client’s ideal candidate must have experience working with vulnerable children or adults in a similar setting, for example Residential Care or the Prison service etc. You will ideally have experience of managing a multidisciplinary team and leading staff supervision and development. You must have held a full UK Driving Licence for a minimum of 12 months.
