Position: Head of Corporate Partnerships (Maternity Cover)

We are looking for a professional fundraiser to join our talented, successful and award winning team. Our partnership with the corporate sector is at the heart of our ability to fulfil our ambition to end orphanage care. Over the past five years we have built on our long standing corporate and major donor support to build an ever strengthening and powerful alliance of global companies and individuals with the influence and reach to change the way the world thinks about orphanage care.

We are fortunate to count an incredible portfolio of companies among our supporters; from the long-standing and deeply important relationship we have with St. James’s Place; to our major new partnerships with Clifford Chance, YouTube and Allen & Overy. We have also received significant investment from UBS to develop our fundraising capability internationally and we have been selected as the beneficiary of the Boodles Boxing Ball, due to take place on 7th June 2019.

We are looking for a natural people manager to lead our Corporate engagement, capturing our success and building on it into 2020. With a proven track record of developing and leading a high performing team, you will have the technical knowledge and creative experience of managing corporate partnerships, which will allow you to effectively coach our talented and growing team. You’ll be supported by a strong peer group, you will have the support from an actively engaged and driven senior management team and you will feel at home in a culture which has integrity, courage and excellence at its heart.

This is a major career opportunity for the right candidate. You will have all the ingredients required to drive through significant results in a relatively short period of time. And this matters to us, because together you can play a vital role in our growth trajectory and ambition to see children grow up in families. Never orphanages.

Salary: £competitive, depending on experience.

Location: flexible – HHC’s London or Wiltshire base or home based. There is a minimum requirement to travel to HHC’s London office at least twice a week, with occasional travel to HHC’s main offices near Salisbury.

Hours: we are ideally looking for a full-timer (37.5 hours), however we are flexible and part-time hours are possible, (e.g. 30 hours per week). We have a generous home and flexible working policy.

Closing date: the final date for applications is: Wednesday 8th May 2019. Please note, we may close the vacancy early if we receive strong applications.   So, don’t delay, please get in touch if you have the right skills, experience and passion for our cause!

We are working to be the catalyst for the global elimination of institutional care of children. Join us and be part of this global movement.
