Position: Philanthropy Executive 
Location: Central London, WC1N 
Job type: Full Time, 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract 
Hours: 37.5 hours per week 
Salary: £Competitive

About the role: 

Do you want to develop your major gift fundraising skills within a professional, fun and supportive environment? This could be your opportunity to hone your abilities and knowledge in a charity where your contribution can really make a difference to the future of child health. 

As a Philanthropy Executive, you will be joining a high performing and committed fundraising team on a fixed term basis to provide maternity cover. Working closely with individual fundraisers and another Philanthropy Executive, you will be responsible for supporting fundraising activity to provide engagement, stewardship, communications and events support across an exciting spectrum of campaigns and activities. Key areas of focus over the coming year will include fundraising towards a major new Sight and Sound Centre and a £50million appeal to support vital child health research. 

About the Team: 

The Philanthropy team raises funds for our client from high net-worth individuals and charitable foundations including a significant number of £1 million+ donations. With a proven track record of engaging donors and establishing effective long-term relationships, the team manages a substantial high value programme. 

About you: 

You will be a committed, dynamic fundraising administrator with excellent communication skills and the ambition to learn. 

Specifically you will have: 

- Strong organisational and administrative abilities 
- Excellent interpersonal and written skills 
- An understanding of major gift fundraising and the high net-worth community 
- A positive ‘can-do’ approach with the energy and drive to take ownership of a varied workload in a busy environment 
- A commitment to child health
