Position: Exhibitions Administrator 
Location: London 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 
Salary: £23,000 to £25,000 per annum, plus benefits 

About the role: 

Their varied exhibition programme explores fascinating threads of history and art from the past for thousands of people to enjoy. 

Providing wide-ranging administrative support, you will play an integral part in the daily running of the Exhibitions team. 

During the lifespan of an exhibition you will help manage the movement of works of art, you will co-ordinate and book transport, circulate timetables, and also keep colleagues informed of movements to ensure their online collection database is always accurate. 

Processing purchase orders, expenses, health and safety assessments and supply deliveries, as well as keeping department records up-to-date will also be an important part of your role. 

As a key point of contact, you will liaise with internal colleagues and external people alike, and your knowledge will grow as you become a reliable source of information. 

It is a busy team, and the quick turnarounds and deadlines will be challenging at times. But knowing your work is helping ensure that every exhibition runs to plan will drive you on. 

About you: 

You will be an experienced administrator, with some exposure to financial administration, along with capable IT skills and the ability to quickly learn to use a variety of IT programs, enabling you to really hit the ground running. 

Your exceptional time management will be vital, and you will be confident juggling a varied workload to effectively balance priorities and deadlines. 

And possessing a keen eye for detail, you will always deliver work with faultless accuracy. 

You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, which will help you liaise with and build strong relationships with a wide range of people. 

With a proactive, flexible approach, and lots of initiative, you are a real team player, and will enjoy working alongside your talented colleagues to achieve results.
