Our client is looking for an experienced programme manager to join their service delivery team.

This charity provides accessible minibuses in the form of their Sunshine Coaches to schools all over the UK as well as children's or youth organisations working with disabled children and children living in poverty.  Their Sunshine Coaches provide transport solutions so that children can experience more environmental education, recreational activities and real-time experiences which build life skills centring on an increase in independence, risk appropriation, academic achievement and creativity. They can also be a lifeline for children to enjoy a day out with their friends. In 2018 our client delivered 79 new Coaches worth £2.5m.

As the Sunshine Coach Programme Manager you will be responsible for the successful running of the programme including all elements of the grant application process, the smooth co-ordination of delivery logistics, measuring impact and ensuring that annual delivery targets are met. The ideal candidate will need to have experience of logistics, project management, administration and customer service, have an exceptional telephone manner, pay close attention to detail and be highly organised.  You will also need to be able to maintain excellent relationships with external stakeholders (suppliers, sponsors and beneficiaries) and be able to work independently. Experience of working with committees and minute taking would be beneficial as well as some experience of working with databases. You must be passionate about supporting disabled children and children living with economic disadvantage, be a pro-active team player and able to remain calm under pressure.
