Trusts & Legacies Officer

The post holder will support the growth of unrestricted and restricted income for the organisation by carefully researching opportunities, developing relationships, writing and submitting compelling and tailored applications and reporting on existing grants.  The post holder will be required to source funding for existing KPG services and proposed new initiatives by making targeted applications to charitable trusts, community and corporate foundations and other agreed charitable sources. 

The post holder will also be required to increase legacy income and build a sustainable legacy pipeline

What you'll need to be successful:

·        A good level of education

·        Demonstrable experience of making funding applications to trusts, grant makers and foundations

·        Demonstrable experience in a fundraising and/or commercial role, preferably in an income generating role.

·        Experience of managing legacy campaigns and funding

·        Understanding of the principles and practice of trust fundraising
