The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing information and advice on a range of topics, through multiple channels, and by influencing policymakers.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a fantastic team of staff and volunteers at our offices in Runnymede and Spelthorne.

In addition to providing a core advice service, Runnymede and Spelthorne Citizens Advice delivers a range of advice contracts. We work seamlessly across two offices and have a record of high customer satisfaction and achievement of challenging objectives, along with a very good reputation with local organisations.

Although the Chief Officer role is responsible overall for the success of the organisation and its staff and work, the majority of the work will be focused on strategic management, fundraising and business development in a challenging environment. This strategic role is well supported by an active and committed Trustee Board, a skilled and effective management team, and an amazing set of volunteers; creating an environment that is positive, supportive and hard-working.

If you have a good track record of business planning, fundraising and business development as well as experience of leading a team and managing a budget, and you share our commitment to the principles underpinning Citizens Advice work, this could be the role for you.
