Title: Chief Executive Officer 
Salary: £40,000 to £48,000 full time or pro-rata for part-time 3 days or more per week, depending on experience. 
Hours of work: 35 hours per week full-time 09:00 to 5.00 Monday to Friday or as negotiated for a part time appointment. A salaried role where occasional unsociable hours may be required. 
Responsible for: Providing clear leadership through line management, direction and taking overall responsibility for the business of the Company.

About the Organisation: 
Our client are a Wokingham based not-for-profit Community Interest Company, run as a social enterprise by its members for its members. They provide care-in-the-community enabling vulnerable adults to live meaningful and fulfilling lives in the community. With 80+ staff, many of which are part-time field based Support Workers, they support 130+ clients in the Wokingham area and turnover approximately £1.4M per annum. A mature and financially secure business they are very proud of their CQC Good Rating and their social ethos that is embedded throughout the business.

About the role: 
They are looking for a dynamic new Chief Executive Officer to drive the business further forward. As a recognised hands-on business leader with excellent interpersonal skills, you should have a track record in successful operational management of a company/business unit/department and a broad spread of management, operational and business skills. The position is full-time with some flexibility for the right person. Experience in Health and Social Care (H&SC) is desirable but not essential.

You will be a strong and inspirational man-manager/leader with good general business understanding and an empathic and structured approach to understanding and resolving issues. You will have a ‘can-do’ and ‘hands on’ approach to solving problems, strong analytical skills and a good understanding of financial management, sales/contract negotiation, and strategic business planning. You will be engaged in the organisation's social ethos with a strong focus on staff development.
