We are seeking a diligent and pro-active Finance Administrator to join our team, working with the Head of Finance & Operations in supporting all elements of the company’s activity through effective and efficient financial management. You will have a bookkeeping qualification and/or some demonstrable understanding of accounting and experience of managing financial transactions, a working knowledge of sage, Liberty or another accounting package, a keen eye for detail and an organised and accurate approach to work. You will be able to work under their own initiative, develop effective relationships with staff and key contacts and be keen to look for efficiencies and new ways of working to help make the finance function of the NOS be more effective.

 

Job Title:               Finance Administrator

Salary:                  £8,400 (0.4 of £21,000 FTE)

Contract:               Employed, Part-time, 2 days a week (flexi-time possible)

Start date:             May/June 2019

Pension:                Eligible for the NOS pension scheme

Holidays:               10 days per year (0.4 of FTE) plus bank holidays

Place of work:        This position is based at the National Opera Studio, 2 Chapel Yard, London SW18 4HZ.

Reporting to:          Head of Finance and Operations
