Care Quality Supervisor

Position: Quality Coordinator
Location: Norfolk / Cambridgeshire
Job type: Part Time, Permanent
Hours: 16 hours per week
Salary: Dependant on experiences
Benefits: 20 days + 8 days bank holiday; Contributory pension; Cycle to work scheme; Employee support line to support you and your family; Support in gaining professional qualifications; Continuous on the job training is provided.
About the role:
At our client it is important that the support each individual receives is designed to meet their wants, needs, aspirations and personalities.
The role of a Quality Coordinator is to manage and support a team of Quality Assessors and Quality Supporters. Our clients Quality Assessors have lived experience of a learning disability and our clients Quality Supporters work with them, enabling them to fulfil their role. The Quality Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that the team they manage are carrying out Quality Checks, making sure that the people they support are receiving individualised care. The successful candidate will need to be able to work to deadlines with attention to detail as these checks are reported in line with compliance regulations.
The Quality Coordinator will have additional recruitment and retention responsibilities for their Quality Team, whilst continuously looking for ways to support the teams learning and further development through regular observation, mentoring and reviews.
This post would suit someone who has previous experience in the learning disability sector and wants the opportunity to progress into management.
About you:
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Have experience of working with people with a learning disability
- Have managerial / supervisory experience
- Be competent with IT and the full Microsoft suite
- Hold a full driving licence with access to a vehicle
- Be a confident and natural communicator
- Have a flexible approach to working
You may have experience of the following: Quality Coordinator, Care Quality Coordinator, Quality Supervisor, Care Quality Supervisor, Quality Lead, Care Quality Lead, Quality Manager, Care Quality Manager, Quality Officer, Care Quality Officer, Third Sector, NFP, Charity, etc.
