Quality & Compliance Manager 

Our client is part of a charitable group of companies that supports people with a learning disability. Their unique leadership and structure includes people with a learning disability. Our clients leadership team work alongside their Service Quality Directors who have lived experience of a learning disability. Through this they can demonstrate that people with a learning disability can be leaders in society but they can’t do this without you! They are looking for a Compliance Manager. 

Position: Quality & Compliance Manager 
Location: Home based 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 39 hours per week 
Salary: £29,000 - £35,000

About the role: 

The Quality and Compliance Manager will act as subject matter expert to support our client. They will carry out quality and compliance audits and checks on behalf of our client, monitoring and reporting on subsidiary companies adherence to their quality and compliance policies, procedures and systems. They will contribute to the development of policies, procedures and supporting documentation. 

The Quality and Compliance Manager will monitor subsidiary company develop improvement action plans, and will develop these where required. They will monitor and report on their compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. The Quality and Compliance Manager will Monitor, analyse and report on notifications to CQC and CI (Scotland), highlighting trends and potential risk. 

The Quality and Compliance Manager will support subsidiary companies to undertake complex investigations in relation to compliance and adult safeguarding matters, and lead on these where necessary. They will also collaborate with the Learning and Development team on the development of learning resources. 

They operate flexi time and flexible working; role comes with a laptop and mobile. 

About you: 

The Quality and Compliance Manager will need a certificate in clinical audit or equivalent Health and Social Care Management qualification. 

You’ll need to be able to take your own initiative, possess a high level of attention to detail and be very organised. The chosen Quality and Compliance Manager will have exceptional communication, strong analysis and be able to problem solve. You will have a background in clinical audit, or inspection and will be experienced in the use of route cause analysis techniques. 

You’ll need to be Computer literate and a driving licence is essential. This role will involve some home working, travel and overnight stays.
