TPP is proud to be partnering with a large international charity which helps fight blindness and disability. They work in over 30 countries, some of which are in the poorest parts of the world and provide medical assistance to those with debilitating eye conditions. In addition, they provide vocational training to help children with disabilities so that they can go to school. Furthermore, they lobby governments to tackle the root cause of blindness and campaign for clean water and education.

The role

The charity is now seeking a Major Donor Manager on a 12-month FTC. This is an important position responsible for managing and developing new and existing relationships with individual donors capable of giving at a major/high level. You will have a warm portfolio but also expected to develop new business.

Person Specification

You may come from a major donor, trusts, corporate or sales background. You may also be looking for a step up. The most important requirement is that you have sound relationship management skills and experience. It is essential that you have the ability to engage and enthuse donors with the work of the charity and ultimately have the confidence to make financial asks.

Benefits/Other

You will receive a competitive salary of £36,000, flexible working hours and 1 day working from home is permitted once you are bedded in. The role might be considered on a 4-day basis.
