This client is an industry-leading membership body specialising in the professional services. While being in the Not for Profit and Charities industry, they are commercially-focused and working to a 4-year strategy. This includes a Digital Transformation project to reach their audiences in a more targeted and effective manner, growing their acquisition and retention capacities across various channels.

They have sleek offices in Central London and offer a social and supportive environment (including various types of training).

Description

With an external supplier and concrete date for completion already in place, the Digital Project Manager will work alongside the Head of Department with particular responsibility for:

  • Maintaining the project plan, identifying next steps and ensuring that the organisation delivers the actions needed to move the project forward
  • Liaising with the external agency, to ensure that we all stay coordinated
  • Maintaining all project documentation including a risk register, issues log, budget, meeting schedule, and write-ups and actions from all meetings
  • Actively addressing internal and external risks, issues and dependencies including where ownership exists outside the project team
  • Coordinating consultations and workshops with internal stakeholders and agency partner, to inform discovery of digital requirements
  • Ensuring that individual action owners are aware of their responsibilities, and are supported to deliver what is needed from them
  • Identifying and removing blockers to progress, and escalating issues where necessary
  • Facilitating difficult discussions within the team or with diverse senior stakeholders
  • Devise internal communications plan to ensure staff are informed of progress and feel invested in its progress, and to ensure stakeholders know what is expected of them
  • Ensuring that information is shared appropriately with relevant colleagues including senior stakeholders, in non-technical language
  • Collating regular progress reports for internal stakeholders

Profile

Confident and comfortable with a challenging brief, you will be familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. You will also be:

  • Able to support the project team to deliver and maintain momentum in the project
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Able to motivate, support and understand your project team and other stakeholders
  • Can adapt and reflect, is resilient and has the ability to see outside of the process
  • Able to manage stakeholders' expectations and be flexible
  • Able to prioritise the most important or highest value tasks
  • Able to manage complex internal and external dependencies
  • Able to provide delivery confidence
  • Able to bring people together to form a motivated team
  • Experience with variety of project management methodologies and tools
  • Experience in rebrand/website projects is desirable
