Job Details
Our client is an independent, local charity supporting older people to remain connected within the community. They offer a range of different services designed with the views and preferences of their service users in mind; from befriending and escorting, to practical help and homecare, to intergenerational IT coaching. They are now recruiting for an experienced 'Deputy Service Manager' to provide overall day to day support for their 'At Home' domiciliary care and personal support service.
The 'At Home' Service offers a variety of individually tailored care packages and support to service users across the boroughs of Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham and Westminster. As the 'At Home' Deputy Service Manager you will support the Service Manager and will work across the wider organisation to ensure that the highest quality of service is delivered to all members. You will be responsible for ensuring that all current and newly referred individuals are properly assessed, and that all regulatory and contractual standards are met and exceeded. You will ensure that good communication channels are established and maintained to facilitate new referrals and joint working.
To apply for this role you will have experience of working within CQC's regulatory framework and experience of monitoring the quality of a service, ensuring that best practice is achieved. You will have demonstrable experience of working with and supporting older people, and will have an in-depth understanding of the issues affecting them. You will have experience of person-centred client assessments and will have excellent communication skills. Overall, you will be organised, self-motivated and solutions-focussed and will be truly passionate about delivering and developing exceptional services for vulnerable service users.
