Job Details
We have a job opportunity for a People Services Specialist to join our team and help us beat heartbreak forever. An experienced HR Adviser you'll be able to apply your knowledge and experience in providing creative solutions to problems and practical advice to managers and staff across the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
You'll provide professional and pragmatic employee relations advice to our line managers and staff on a range of HR issues, ensuring that all policies and procedures are appropriate for a World Class Organisation. You'll role model a high level of customer service to the business and assist with the day-to-day administration within the department.
About you
You'll have previous experience of providing practical advice on a range of HR issues to managers and staff across a multi-site complex organisation. CIPD qualified, you'll have up-to-date knowledge of employment law and excellent communication and relationship building skills. Working effectively with both paid staff and volunteers you will be able to develop strong and effective working relationships.
With a can-do attitude, being HR creative to find the best possible outcome for the customer and our cause, you'll have experience of managing all aspects of employee relations in ideally a retail or charity environment and have excellent time management and organisational skills able to handle a large case load and juggle conflicting priorities.
Above all you will be able to demonstrate the delivery of the BHF values; brave, compassionate, driven and informed in our fight for every heartbeat.
About us
When you work at the British Heart Foundation, you become a part of medical history. Part of a world leading organisation that has played a role in decades of life saving breakthroughs, from heart transplants and pacemakers to stents and clot busting drugs. And we're not about to stop any time soon. We are here to beat heartbreak forever. To stop heart and circulatory diseases devastating families. And if you want to help us get there sooner, you could be the HR Adviser we need.
