Our client is one of London’s most popular visitor attractions at the heart of the Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site, welcoming 1.2m visitors annually. This is a truly exciting time to join the organisation - they are embarking on their most ambitious transformation to become an extraordinary cultural destination. The organisation has just completed an £8.5 million (£3.1m from National Lottery Heritage Fund) conservation project to restore its Painted Hall, and is embarking on a new fundraising strategy to increase revenue income to support the four pillars of its strategy.

Our client is looking to appoint a talented Development Manager -Trusts and Research to join its Development Team at this exciting juncture.

The successful candidate will drive the organisation’s activities through Trusts, Foundations and other sources and also support the Development team and the wider organisation by identifying and researching prospects. The post holder will also have the opportunity to broaden their fundraising experience by supporting the implementation of new fundraising streams including individual and corporate membership schemes and legacy giving.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate proven experience of making successful applications to funders, including writing engaging bids using clear and appropriate language, and face to face presentations. Experience of prospect research and a track record of using a range of research resources is also key.
