Our client is recruiting an Events Manager to join their passionate, dynamic and energetic Partnerships & Fundraising Team.
As Events Manager you will manage the events team and be responsible for their calendar of fundraising, cultivation and stewardship events, securing income in excess of £500,000 each year. 

Founded in 1911, provides young people aged 8-25 with high quality services, delivered through a network of locally accessible youth organisations across the UK. Together they offer support, advice and training to over 1.5 million young people to equip them with skills for the future and help them engage in education, volunteering and employment. Their mission is to provide access to appropriate, high quality services for young people in every community so that all young people are empowered to build bright futures, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Their work engages young people most in need of support with 86% of the young people on their programmes facing at least one barrier to progress and over half living in some of the most deprived areas of the UK. Thanks to high quality youth work delivered by a trusted adult in a local safe space, 64% of their young people report improved key life skills after engaging with their skills development programmes.

This is an exciting time to join their fundraising team as they look to build on their success and grow their impact. They already have a portfolio of successful fundraising events including their flagship annual Gala Dinner and innovative Art for Youth London exhibition. They also deliver a range of cultivation and stewardship events to help grow their network of supporters. Their events are attended by a range of their individual supporters and corporates partners including well-known brands such as Oliver Bonas, Microsoft, UPS, Coca Cola European Partners, Lloyds Banking Group and PwC to name a few.

They are looking for a high performing Events Manager who will play a key role in delivering high quality events. You will manage a small events team and work closely with volunteer committees to ensure the successful delivery of a portfolio of events throughout the year. You will be target driven and be a skilled and personable manager; excel at developing internal and external networks and feel confident in communicating to a variety of audiences.

They offer a salary of between £30,000- £35,000. Additional benefits include 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a pension scheme (currently they match employee contributions up to 5%), a life insurance scheme which would pay out up to 4 times your salary and 15% off at Cotswold Outdoor, Snow+Rock, Runners Need and Cycle Surgery.
