£27,789 – £29,589 per annum
12 months FTC

Our client is a new, dynamic Housing Association formed by the merger of the two strong and resilient housing providers who have a shared history in providing excellent quality services to their customers.
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Community Safety Officer to join their small but high performing Community Safety Team to work on actions to reduce crime and disorder across their communities.
Reporting to the Community Safety Manager, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of anti-social behaviour issues through to resolution, supporting vulnerable customers who may be subject to or perpetrators of anti-social behaviour, preparing cases for legal work and representing the group at court as and when required.
You will have a proven record of using good judgement in handling cases and dealing with difficult/distressed customers who may be subject to domestic violence, hate crime or safeguarding concerns.
You will also be required to attend multi-agency meetings from time to time and will work collaboratively with colleagues across the group and external agencies. As a holistic role, you will develop preventative measures and work within the communities to ensure they are safe and secure for our tenants. Therefore the ideal candidate will be proactive in their approach, have proven communications skills and be able to manage conflicting priorities with a demanding workload.
This is a fixed term post for an initial period of up to 12 months and will be working within their communities across North West. Given the geographical spread of their stock, they require the successful candidate to hold a valid Driving Licence and have access to a car.
In addition to a competitive salary, you will have access to a company pension scheme, life assurance, employee assistance programme, flexi-time and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Closing Date: Friday 12th April 2019 at 5 pm.
